AGE GROUPS FROM SEPTEMBER 2010
Mini Tennis age groups from September 2010 are listed below. Note that we cannot allow any player to play "up" an age group unless they have a passport from their County Organisation.

INDOORS
All our Winter competitions will be held indoors on the recommended court size. As the weather becomes warmer events may be held outside.

TIMELINE
Monday - closing date for entries - if you miss the closing date please email or text, contact details at bottom of page.
Friday - Draws done. Email reminders sent out of start time & any other information.
Sunday - Pack your kit, it's tournament time!

HELPERS
Mini Red competitions will have a helper on each court who will score the match.
Mini Orange will have a helper overseeing one or more courts who will supervise the scoring and record scores. Players will be responsible for calling the scores and lines.
Mini Green will be expected to score the match, call their own lines and report the score to the Referee.

MATCH FORMAT & SCORING
Mini Red will play in boxes and may continue to playoffs. Scoring will be 10 point tiebreak with sudden death at 10.
Mini Orange may play in boxes, a draw or a mix of both. Scoring best of 3 7 point tiebreaks with sudden death deuce.
Mini Green will play in boxes, a draw or a mix of both. Scoring will be the best of 3 short sets or one long set. Sudden death tiebreak.

MINIMUM NUMBER OF MATCHES
You can expect to play at least -
Red - 4 matches
Orange - 3 matches
Green - 2 matches

ENTRY NUMBERS
We need a minimum entry of 5 to run each event. Some events which require more court time may have a maximum number of entrants imposed. If the entry size is limited preference will be given to earlier entries so it is advisable to enter early. If there are not enough entries received by the closing date the event may be cancelled so EARLY ENTRIES are advised and appreciated.

CLOSING DATE
All our mini events will have a closing date of the Monday prior to the event. Entries received after this date will only be accepted if there is room available and at the Organisers discretion.  If there are not enough entries received by the closing date the event may be cancelled so EARLY ENTRIES are advised and appreciated.
